Nicolas is 51 years old, and he is a French citizen and he is a Chemical Engineer with more than 20 years of experience in petrochemicals industry and oil and gas, in projects and on manufacturing sites in France and abroad, acquired in various technical and management functions such as project execution, plant operation, commissioning, licensing and technology development.
Nicolas started his career in the polymer division (Styrenics and Polyolefins) within BP, where he spent around 10 years in the petrochemicals business including his involvement in a mega cracker complex project built in China.
He joined TotalEnergies in 2008 to pursue his career in the project field, in the refinery and chemical as well as in the upstream divisions; after several years spent overseas embedded into the project execution, such as the engineering, procurement and construction of an Floating Production and Storage Offloading unit for Angola and successfully started up in 2018, or in the design and construction of a grass root Polyethylene project in the USA , he recently moved back to the headquarters in project management, to support the TotalEnergies’ projects portfolio in the definition phase.
